此曲是我的大学毕业作品，同时也为2008北京奥运会歌曲征集而作，已经在上海音乐学院音乐工程系07届毕业生音乐会以及全校“毕业之歌”音乐会上得到成功演出。
作品在旋律性上体现了历届奥运会歌曲一贯大气的特质、朗朗上口；并且在歌曲的演唱形式上较以往有较大突破，与88年汉城奥运会相同的是2男2女的形式，但我在演唱法上安排了以美声与流行的结合，更加明确地强调了作品的主题性，从演唱和歌曲的配器上更为体现了积极而磅礴的气势，回归到奥运精神最为纯粹的本质。
