爱华网加拿大NOC（National OccupationalClassification国家职业分类）是对加拿大职业的分类方法，它按照职业类别和对从业者的技能要求对职业进行细分，形成以一个职业矩阵（见下图。横轴是技能类别，纵轴是技能水平）。NOC用以帮助加拿大政府对劳动力市场进行统计和分析，帮助雇主寻找雇员，帮助就业者寻找合适工作，同时用于指导移民签证和工作签证的发放，因此NOC 在加拿大就业市场上起着重要作用。
加拿大 NOC 按照加拿大职业的技能水平（SKILLLEVEL）分为 5 级（0、A、B、C、D），其中 0、A、B是联邦技术移民的移民职业，C、D 类职业不能申请加拿大联邦技术移民（但某些省提名项目允许 C、D类别的从业者申请移民）。
技能水平按照对从业者的教育和培训要求划分5级：
SKILL LEVEL 0：管理职业，涉及各行各业
SKILL LEVEL A：需要大学教育（Occupations usually require universityeducation）。
SKILL LEVEL B：需要大专以上学历或学徒训练（Occupations usually require collegeeducation or apprenticeship training）。
SKILL LEVEL C：职业需要中学和/或具体职业培训（ccupations usually require secondaryschool and/or
occupation-specific training）。
SKILL LEVEL D：通常需要在职培训（On-the-job training is usually provided foroccupations）。
