穷则独善其身，达则兼济天下！
上学的时候，学到这句话的古文意只是单纯的觉得这句话特别大气。
随着年龄的增长，发现自己越来越喜欢这句话了。。。
Successful, they made all theworld good.
Poor, they made themselves alone good.
A nobody tries to be himselfwhile a somebody has the entire world in his heart.
Rich, save others who introuble.
Poor, only take care of youself.
Be disciplined when poor ;andbe generous to the p eople in the world when rich .

以上几个翻译是我从百度里搜来的，我想也许自己来翻译这句话的时候会更贴近于第三个译法。直译。而在看到第二个翻译时，就不得不持赞同的观点。首先对古汉语的意思理解的更透彻吧，然后是译法更贴切。（纯属个人意见）将整个世界置于心中，是多么大气的思想境界。忽然想起一句广告语“做人要大气！”
这是一种责任，一种心态，与一个人所处的位置高低无关。只关乎一个人的世界观，人生观。
