contain
英语中表示“包括”、“包含”常用 include和contain。这两个词容易混淆。include 指包含部分内容，contain指作为组成部分而被包含或容纳在内，所包含的

2）The data include the names and account numbers of thosesending and receiving

embrace 基本意思是“抱”、“拥抱”，可引申出“环抱”、“包含”的意思，强
调全部包括在内。

20多年没有相见,两姐妹热泪盈眶，彼此热烈拥抱。
2）Siberia extends from the Ural Mountains to the Pacific Ocean andembraces

encircle基本意思是“圈在里面”、“环绕”的意思，常引申出“包围”的的意
思，相当于surround的用法。
1）The tree is so big that it takes ten people encircleit.
这颗树很大，要十个人才能将它围抱。
2）The house is encircled by a high fence.
这房子四周有是高的栅栏围住。
3）The guerrilla moved quietly and quickly to encircle theenemy.
游击队悄悄得行动，很快就包围了敌人。
surround“环绕”“包围”，指四周都是将某物或某处围住。
1）The garden is surrounded by a high wall andshaded by thicktrees.
这个花园是周围有一道高墙,里面有茂密的树木。
2）I send one thousand lucky stars to you and hope that good luckalways
