In the picture we can see that a concert is going on. The pianistis
supposed to be playing Beethoven’s symphony when, all of a sudden,a man
with a tie stood up, talking loudly over his mobile phone andtelling his
friend that he was attending a concert of classical music. Theaudience is
boredwith the sudden noisy and the pianist shocked withpanic.
It is not uncommon that the above scene happens in public places.More
and more people complain that the mobile phone has now becoming amodern
nuisance,giving unpleasant noise on some important occasions. Becauseof
the abuse of mobile phones, libraries are notlonger so quite, restaurants
are filled with noisy phone talks, and teaching is incessantlyinterrupted
by the noisy ringing of mobile phones.
It goes without saying that the mobile phone has brought usmuch
convenience in communication and that we have the right to enjoyadvantages
of the modern technolo gy. Nevertheless, we shouldalso know this simple
truth: Never put one’s own convenience on the inconvenience ofothers. When
we use mobile phones, we should mind not causingany interference to others.
The man depicted in the picture should learn howto conduct himself in the
moderncivilizedsociety.
