ScarboroughFair（译作“斯卡波罗集市”）是一首旋律优美的经典英文歌曲，歌词优美，曲调婉转，给人以心灵深处的触动。
ScarboroughFair原是一首古老的英国民歌，其起源可一直追溯到中世纪。Scarborough是英格兰北约克郡的一座滨海小镇，本是由于维京人经常的登陆、做一些交换而形成的一个定期集市，在历史上在几百年的时间里，小镇从每年八月十五日开始会有一个延续交易45天的集市，吸引着来自全英格兰甚至欧洲的商人。
保罗·西蒙
保罗·西蒙在英国学习期间从英国民歌歌手MartinCarthy（马汀·卡西）那学会了这首民歌，
并对其进行改编，加入了自己创作的一首《The Side of A Hill》作为副歌。由加芬克尔（ArtGarfunkel）作曲并演唱的副歌做为歌曲的和音在听觉的感受上不是特别强烈，因此很多人对副歌不太留意，认为副歌只是歌唱的一种处理形式，实际上副歌却是整个歌曲的灵魂。
歌曲ScarboroughFair表现的是一位在前线作战的士兵对恋人的思念，士兵请求去斯卡布罗市镇的人带去给姑娘的问候。在每一段歌词的第一句后，插入了一句看似毫不相干的唱词：“那里有欧芹、鼠尾草、迷迭草和百里香”。正是这句歌词的反复出现，使歌曲的怀旧气氛被浓墨重彩，使人对斯镇自然纯朴的美丽风光充满了无限的向往。在歌曲中出现的和声颂唱（Cantile）使得这首抒情歌曲韵味无穷。
这首歌作为20世纪60年代最受美国大学生欢迎的电影《毕业生》的插曲，曾被那一代人特别是那一代青年学生视为至爱。
著名女歌手莎拉·布莱曼（SarahBrightman）也翻唱过此歌，收录于2000年专辑《La Luna》。
