北京林业大学性与性别研究所 简介
北京林业大学性与性别研究所成立于2008年,致力于性与性别的教学、科研与社会工作。
研究所的学术理想是:学术研究为改造社会服务,通过性学研究促进性人权,通过性别研究促进男性参与社会性别平等运动。
研究所目前开设的心理学专业本科生课程包括:“性与性别心理学”、“社会性别与质性研究基础”;研究所开设的全校本科生公选课为“两性关系与两性文化”;研究所还开设了全校的硕士研究生公选课“性别、心理与法律”。其中“性与性别心理学”获得妇女、社会性别学学科发展网络“全国推荐课程”称号,曾开设的“女性心理学”获得该网络的“优秀课程”称号。
研究所自2010年开始招收性别心理学方向的硕士研究生,现有在读硕士研究生2人。
研究所目前已经完成横向、纵向科研课题10余个。包括共青团中央的项目“性健康教育模式及应用效果研究”、中国青少年艾滋病防治工程的项目“男性性工作者男性气质的质性研究”、“利用电影课进行性教育的实践研究”,台湾夏潮基金会的项目“台湾生态建设研究”,北京林业大学的项目“社会性别与生态文明建设研究”,福特基金会和中国人民大学的“性教育课程研究”,妇女/社会性别学学科发展网络的项目“性别教育中情景剧大赛及应用效果研究”,等等。
研究所目前承担着“妇女/社会性别学学科发展网络心理学子网络”的项目负责与主要运营工作。
研究所成功地举办了第一届、第二届“北京市高校性别心理学情景剧大赛”,举办了首届全国性别心理学学学术征文,以及首届全国性别心理学学术研讨会等活动。
研究所主办的白丝带反对性别暴力男性热线(15711447572)于2010年10月1日开通,提供免费的公益服务。
研究所现任所长为方刚副教授,主要从事性研究,以及男性气质的研究。已经出版《男公关:男性气质研究》、《中国多性伙伴个案考察》、《男性研究与男性运动》、《第三性男人》、《转型期中国的性与性别》、《性别的革命》、《开放的性教育:影响孩子一生的性教育》等50多部专著,主编有《社会性别与心理学研究》、《社会性别与生态研究》、《性别心理学》等著作。

The Beijing ForestryUniversity
Established in year 2008,the Institute of Sexuality and GenderStudies at Beijing Forestry University (ISGS) devotes to education,research, and social work in the field of sex andgender.
The academic visions of the ISGS areto serve and change the society via academic research, to advancehuman rights of sex via sexuality studies, and to engage men insocial movements of gender equality via gender studies.
So far, courses offered by the ISGShave included psychology ofsex and gender and introduction to gender andqualitative studies (for students of psychology major),gender relationship andculture of gender (for students of all majors), and gender, psychology and law (formasters students of all majors), among which the course psychologyof sex and gender was awarded as the “recommended coursenationwide” by the Network of Women and Gender Studies DisciplinaryDevelopment, and the previous course psychology of women was awardedas the “outstanding course” by the same Network.
Since year 2010, the ISGS started tooffer master’s degree in gender psychology, and currently has twocurrent master’s students enrolled.
So far, the ISGS has accomplishedmore than ten research projects including “study of the model andeffects of sex education” sponsored by the Central Committee of theCommunist Youth League of China, “study of male Sex workers andmasculinities” and “action research on sex education in cinema”sponsored by AIDSPreventionEducation Project for ChineseYouth, “study of ecological construction in Taiwan”sponsored by the China Tide Foundation, “study of gender andecological civilization construction” sponsored by Beijing ForestryUniversity, “study of curriculum of sex education” sponsored by theFord Foundation and Renmin University, as well as “study of theeffect of skit contest in gender education” sponsored by theNetwork of Women and Gender Studies DisciplinaryDevelopment.
Currently, the ISGS is in charge ofthe project “the Sub-Network of Psychology Affiliated to theNetwork of Women and Gender Studies DisciplinaryDevelopment.
The ISGS successfully held the firstand second Contest of Psychological Skit among BeijingUniversities, the first Academic Paper Contest on Psychology ofGender, as well as the first National Symposium on Psychology ofGender.
On October 1st, 2010, theISGS opened up a Write Ribbon Hotline (+86. 15711447572) in order to provide freeanti-gender violence counseling to men.
Dr. Fang Gang, associate professor inpsychology, is currently serving as the Director of the ISGS. Dr.Fang’s research interests lie in sex studies and studies ofmasculinities. He has published more than fifty books including“Male PR: Study of Masculinities,” “Investigation on MultipleSexual Partners in China,” “Men’s Studies and Men’s Movements,”“Men of the Third Sex,” “Sex and Gender in China underTransformation,” “The Sex Revolution,” “Open Sex Education: ALife-Time Education” and etc. He is also the chief editor of booksincluding “Gender and Psychology Research,” “Gender and EcologicalStudies,” and “The Psychology of Gender.”
