Parents now pay more and more attention to their children’seducation. So these days, selecting a so-called key school for children hasbecome a common desire of parents and some high-priced schools have come intobeing accordingly. This phenomenon has its own background. For schools, whichare suffering from a lack of funds, enrolling students at high fees is no doubtan effective way to collect money. Parents, on the other hand, who wish to seeka guarantee of their children getting into a key university in the future, haveno hesitation in paying high prices for schools with high-quality teachers andadvanced teaching equipment.

现在家长们越来越关注孩子们的教育。因此，为孩子选择所谓的重点学校已经成为这些日子家长们的共同愿望；同时，一些高价学校也相应形成。这一现象有它自己的背景。对于正经历着资金短缺的学校来说高收费招收学生无疑是收集资金的有效方式。另一方面，对于想要确保他们的孩子将来能够进入重点大学的家长来说，他们会毫不犹豫地给拥有一流师资和先进教学设备的学校支付昂贵的费用。

But facts have provedthat sending children to a famous school at great expense is not always a wisechoice. The real victims are sometimes the children themselves. When childrentransfer to a new and a better school, some of them maybe find it hard to adaptto the new environment in a short time. When they fail to catch up with others,they will be upset. They are always worrying about their study and relationshipwith classmates. And, worse still, the factors above probably interfere with their study.

但是，事实已经证明，花昂贵的费用把孩子送到名校并非总是明智的选择。真正的受害者有时候恰恰是孩子本身。当孩子们转到一个新的更好的学校时，他们常常会发觉很难在短时间内去适应新的环境。如果他们跟不上其他同学，他们会感到失落。他们总是担心他们的学习以及与陌生同学之间的关系。而且更糟的是，上述因素很可能影响他们的学习。

Personally, thepractice might also send children a wrong message that money can buyeverything. As a result, some might not study hard though in a betterenvironment. In fact, the government has stipulated that children should go toappointed schools near their homes. Selectingschool will greatly disorder the teaching resource allocation. Even, it isworryingthat such a practice will damage the society justness in the longrun.

就我个人而言，这一事实也可能会给孩子灌输金钱能够买来一切的错误观念。其结果是，虽然在更好的环境一些孩子可能会不用功读书。事实上，政府已经规定孩子们应该就近入学。择校将会严重影响正常的教学秩序。甚至，从长远看来它是令人担忧的，因为这种做法会损害社会的公正。
