这组词都可表示“不同的”意思。
different“不同的”。普通用词。指两者在细节上有部分或全部不相似。
1）Different jewellery offers avery different expression ofidentity.
不同的首饰显示非常不同的身份表达。
2）Manners arequitedifferentfromcountry to country.
各国的礼仪各不相同。
3）Each country hasadifferentculture.That's why it is so exciting to travel
in foreigncountries.
每一个国家有不同的文化，这就是到国外旅游使人兴奋之处。

distinct“不同的”、“截然不同的”。指两事物在本质上有明显的差异或区
别，语气比 different 强。强调各自有独特的地方，因而有明显的不同之处。
