“Casabianca" is a poem by British poet Felicia Dorothea Hemans,first published in the New Monthly Magazine for August 1826.

The poem commemorates an actual incident that occurred in 1798during the Battle of the Nile aboard the French ship Orient. Theyoung son Giocante (his age is variously given as ten, twelve andthirteen) of commander Louis de Casabianca remained at his post andperished when the flames caused the magazine to explode.

Love's the boy stood on the burning deck

the burning deck." Love's the son
stood stammering elocution
while the poor ship in flames went down.

一首诗歌的翻译，不知道其背景，就容易误入歧途，正如我的第一版（还以为是写那个菲利西娅笔下的男孩），豪气冲天的第一版：
爱就是那男孩，站在燃烧的甲板，
他尽力地呼喊“坚持住男孩，

就是烈焰中缓缓下沉的战舰上，
站着结结巴巴喊个不停的男儿。
爱就是那顽强的男孩，战舰，
