I am a Senior Three student.
I’m a Senior Three student. Recently, many students have expresseddifferent opinions about whether listening practice should becontinued in Senior 3 English learning.
Some classmates are for it. They think that keeping listeningpractice helps them keep their sense of English language. Besides,if a person is good at listening, he will find it much easier tocommunicate with people from other cultures.
However, others are against it.They feel it unnecessary to practiceEnglish listening in Senior 3 because the listening test has beenleft out in gaokao/NMET for years. In addition, time used for revision is quitelimited and they can’t find extra time for it.
As for me , I prefer to say Yes because English listening is thefirst step to get information of the modern world where English isa still a dominant language.
