1985, for the charitable organization 'USAFor Africa'. Michael Jackson, along with Lionel Richie, composedthe song 'We Are The World'. Numerous artists took part and sungthis song. The song eventually gained millions of dollars used tofight famine in Africa, and have won numerous awards, including 4Grammys.

2. The greatest gift of all就是指life“生命”。lend ahand to sb orsth表示“向某人或者某物伸出援手”，这里的hand的意思可不是“手”，而是“帮助”的意思，比如我们还可以说，Doyou need a hand? 你需要帮忙吗？还有，Maybe I can give you a hand inthis. 也许我能帮上你的忙。
3. make achange表示“做出改变”。还有do sth for achange，表示“做某事来改变”，比如说，Stop complaining! Dosomething for a change! 别抱怨了！要改变就要有行动！还有，Let's goswimming for a change. 我们换个活动，去游泳吧。
4. we are thechildren是说“我们是上帝的孩子”或者“我们是大自然母亲的孩子”都可以，也就是要突出“我们都是一家人”的感情。只有我们一起努力，才能创造更美好的明天。
5. As God has shown us by turning stones tobread说的是《圣经》里面的故事，耶稣曾经把地上的石头变成了面包，分给饥饿的人吃。这里面是用这个典故说明只要相信，就会有奇迹出现，只有付出自己的真心去帮助别人，这个世界才会更加美好。
6. When you're down andout当中的down表示“失败，沮丧”，在以前的节目中我们也多次提到过。out补充完整了应该是out ofplace，表示“迷失了方向，找不到归属感”。比如我们可以说，SometimesI feel out of place.有时候我感觉自己很迷茫，无所适从。
