爱华网The education department of Liaoning province banned primary and middle school teachers from holding cram study sessions or giving extra classes off campus in a notice released last Monday, Shenyang Evening News reported last Tuesday.
The notice was released after a letter from a student in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang province, which attracted national attention. In the letter, the student, whose family is poor, said one of his teachers was not effective in his daily lessons during class and also held extra classes after school in exchange for large fees.
